chuulens.hk ("the Website") is operated by PPB HONG KONG LIMITED ("the Company", "we", "us"). Welcome to browse, register with, and shop on the Website. By browsing the Website, registering as a member, or placing an order for any product, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety, as well as any other applicable policies published on the Website, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1.Definitions

  • "the Website" means chuulens.hk and its related domains (including chuulens.com.hk)
  • "User" / "you" means any person browsing, registering with, or otherwise using the Website
  • "Products" means the contact lenses and related accessories offered for sale on the Website
  • "Member" means a user who has completed registration in accordance with the Website's requirements

2.Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to register as a member of, and to place orders on, the Website
  • If you are at least 16 but under 18 years of age (below the age of majority under Hong Kong law), you represent and warrant that you have obtained the consent of your legal guardian or parent, and that such guardian or parent is aware of and consents to your use of the Website for the purposes described above; the Company reserves the right to request proof of such guardian consent where necessary
  • Contact lenses are products worn directly on the eye, and you should carefully assess your own health condition before purchase and use (see Section 7, "Health and Safety Disclaimer")
  • The Company reserves the right to decline an order or terminate a membership where a user does not meet the above eligibility requirements or is unable to provide proof of guardian consent when requested

3.Products and Orders

  • Product images, colours, and descriptions displayed on the Website are for reference only; the actual product may vary slightly due to photography conditions or your screen display settings
  • An order is formed only upon your successful completion of payment; the Company reserves the right to cancel or decline an order due to product unavailability, data display errors, or other reasonable grounds, and will provide a full refund of any amount already collected in such cases
  • Product quantities, stock levels, and listing information may change at any time without individual notice

4.Pricing and Payment

  • Prices displayed on the Website are as shown on the webpage at the time of your order, denominated in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD)
  • The Company reserves the right to adjust product prices, promotions, and shipping fees at any time; however, such adjustments will not affect orders already placed
  • Please refer to the checkout page for supported payment methods; you must ensure that the payment information you provide is accurate, valid, and that you are legally authorised to use the relevant payment method

5.Shipping and Delivery

  • The shipping destinations, shipping fees, and estimated delivery times for Website products are set out on the checkout page and in the Website's shipping policy, as published from time to time
  • The Company will make reasonable efforts to assist with any delay caused by the logistics carrier's operations, customs clearance, weather, or other force majeure events, but shall not be liable for such delays
  • Title to, and risk of loss of, the products passes to you upon delivery to your designated recipient

6.Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

  • As contact lenses are personal hygiene products intended for direct contact with the eye, products that have been opened (including the outer box or foil seal) are not eligible for return or exchange, except where the product itself is defective, was incorrectly shipped, or was damaged in transit
  • For unopened products that were shipped in error, please contact our customer service at contact@chuulens.hk within 7 days of receipt, providing your order number and photographs of the product's condition; we will assist you once this has been confirmed
  • For opened products that are defective, please contact our customer service at contact@chuulens.hk within 7 days of receipt, providing your order number and photographs of the defect; we will assist you once the defect has been verified
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method once the returned product has been confirmed to be in order; the actual time for funds to be credited depends on the processing timeline of the relevant payment institution

7.Health and Safety Disclaimer

  • Contact lenses are products worn on the surface of the eye, and improper use may result in eye discomfort, infection, or other health risks
  • Products sold on the Website are not intended for the medical purpose of correcting vision or treating eye conditions (where a product is a prescription/power lens, this will be separately indicated, and you are advised to consult a qualified ophthalmologist or optometrist before use)
  • Please read the instructions included with the product carefully before use, and follow the correct wearing, cleaning, storage, and replacement schedule; if you experience redness, pain, a foreign-body sensation, blurred vision, or any other discomfort after wearing the lenses, stop wearing them immediately and seek medical attention promptly
  • The Company does not recommend sharing contact lenses with others, or wearing them beyond the recommended usage period
  • Users under 18 years of age, or users with a history of eye conditions or prior discomfort from wearing contact lenses, are advised to consult a qualified ophthalmologist before purchase

8.Privacy

  • The manner in which the Company collects, processes, and uses your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, published separately on the Website, and will comply with the relevant requirements of Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
  • You consent to the Company processing personal data you provide during registration, ordering, and use of the Website, for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy

9.Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, logos, website design, text, images, and other content on the Website are owned by the Company or licensed from the original manufacturer, and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any such content for commercial purposes without the Company's prior written consent

10.User Conduct

  • You agree not to use the Website to engage in any activity that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the normal operation of the Website (including, without limitation, placing malicious orders, disseminating false information, or attempting to breach the Website's systems)
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user's account, or to decline an order, where any of the foregoing is discovered

11.Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, from product defects (except as provided under the Returns, Exchanges and Refunds section above), or from third-party services (such as logistics or payment providers)
  • Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that consumers are entitled to under applicable law

12.Disclaimer and Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify the Company or any third party for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your breach of these Terms, improper use of the products, or violation of applicable law

13.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
  • Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong in the first instance

14.Amendments to These Terms

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time; any amendments will be published on the Website and will take effect from the date of publication
  • You are advised to review the latest version of these Terms each time before using the Website; your continued use of the Website following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms
